Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OwambePal (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

OwambePal is a celebration operating platform that enables event hosts to manage RSVP, live digital spray, gift contributions, aso-ebi fabric coordination, and ticketing. Payments are processed via Stripe.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Payments and Fees

OwambePal charges a platform fee on transactions processed through the Platform. Fees are disclosed at checkout and deducted automatically. All fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Payouts to hosts are subject to Stripe's connected account terms.

5. Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for: (a) the accuracy of event information; (b) fulfilling obligations to guests (aso-ebi delivery, ticket admission, etc.); (c) maintaining a valid Stripe connected account for payouts; and (d) complying with applicable laws.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to deceive guests, to process fraudulent payments, or to violate any third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

OwambePal and its content are protected by copyright. You retain ownership of content you upload (event photos, descriptions) and grant OwambePal a limited licence to display it on the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OwambePal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any disputes between hosts and guests.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
